Outside the U.S., orders ship worldwide, and postage is charged by destination and package weight, in steps of up to 1 lb, 2 lb, 3 lb, 4 lb, 6 lb and 10 lb (orders over 10 lb are quoted by email):

Orders go out within 2 to 4 business days. Delivery windows start once the parcel ships, and every order gets a tracking number by email.

Orders outside the U.S. may owe import duties and taxes, collected by the carrier on delivery. They are set by your country and are the buyer's cost. This applies to every country we ship to outside the U.S. We declare every parcel accurately.

Every piece is made in small runs, so returns are handled as an exchange or store credit rather than a refund.

You have 14 days from delivery to start one. The piece must be unworn, unwashed, free of smoke and fragrance, with the tags still attached. Trying it on is expected. Wearing it out is not.

You cover return postage. We cover shipping the replacement size back to you, stock permitting.

To start a return, use the contact form with your order number, pick “Orders & Returns” as the subject, and say whether you want an exchange or store credit.

You can also start a return from your account at account.bakesmusic.com > Orders; say in the note whether you want an exchange or store credit.

Store credit is saved to your Bakes account under your order email. To spend it, sign in at checkout (or pay with Shop Pay) with that same email and it shows up as a payment option.

Message us within 14 days of delivery with a photo and your order number. A damaged, defective or incorrect item is replaced or refunded in full, shipping included, and you do not need to send it back at your own cost.

Buyers in the United Kingdom and the European Union (and in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, where the same rule applies) may cancel an order within 14 days of delivery for any reason and get their money back. That is a refund right, not a store credit, and it stands regardless of the exchange policy above.

To cancel, tell us within those 14 days through the contact form or by email. A clear message saying you want to cancel is enough, and you do not need to give a reason. Then send the piece back within 14 days of telling us. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty.

The refund covers the price, plus the original standard shipping charge when you cancel the whole order, and goes back the way you paid within 14 days of hearing from you. We may hold it until the piece is back with us or you show us proof that you sent it. If a piece comes back worn or washed beyond what trying it on would need, we may take the drop in its value off the refund.

This store no longer sells music downloads. They are sold on Bandcamp, at bakesmusic.bandcamp.com, under Bandcamp's own policies. A download bought here earlier keeps working through the link in its order email.

Downloads cannot be returned once the files have been downloaded, since they cannot be given back. If a download fails or a file will not open, message us and we will fix it or refund it.
